Across the world, public administrations are undergoing an extraordinary transformation. A new generation of technology is changing the way local and national governments collect taxes, deliver services, distribute welfare, maintain security, and more. Stories of failed IT projects in government are, however, legion. How can governments then make best use of so called “GovTech"?

At this staatskantine event we were joined by Kiann Stenkjӕr Hein, Managing Director of PUBLIC Danmark and former senior civil servant in the Danish government, who shared how she is fostering a “GovTech" ecosystem in Denmark and connecting start-ups with public administration.

The event took place, as usual, on the first Thursday of the month, on October 1st, 2020, from 12 to 1.15pm.

The event was aimed at public sector employees. Attendees brought their own lunch, we provided a speaker with interesting points of view and space for a lively conversation.

This staatskantine was held in English.
